Mitsubishi servo motors are AC permanent magnet servo motors developed by Mitsubishi. Working principle of AC servo motors: A servo system generally consists of a servo amplifier and a servo motor. The rotor inside the servo motor is a permanent magnet. The U/V/W three-phase electricity controlled by the servo amplifier forms an electromagnetic field, and the rotor rotates under the action of this magnetic field. At the same time, the encoder built into the motor feeds back signals to the driver, and the driver compares the feedback value with the target value and adjusts the rotor rotation angle. The precision of the servo motor depends on the resolution of the encoder. Servo motors can control speed and position with very high precision and can convert voltage signals into torque and rotational speed to drive controlled objects. The rotor speed of the servo motor is controlled by the input signal and can respond quickly. In automatic control systems, it is used as an executive element and has characteristics such as small electromechanical time constant, high linearity, and starting voltage. It can convert the received electrical signal into angular displacement or angular velocity output on the motor shaft. It is divided into two major categories: DC and AC servo motors. Their main feature is that when the signal voltage is zero, there is no self-rotation phenomenon, and the speed decreases uniformly as torque increases.
